Ganesha-bigGanesha or Ganapati is an extremely popular and powerful God. He is called Vighneshvara or Vighnaharta, the Lord of and destroyer of obstacles. People mostly worship Him asking for  siddhi, success in undertakings, and buddhi, intelligence. He is worshipped before any  venture is started. He is also the God of education, knowledge and wisdom, literature,  and the fine arts.

Ganesha Chaturthi is the Hindu festival celebrated in honour of the god Ganesha, the elephant-headed remover of obstacles and the god of beginnings and wisdom.

The festival, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, shukla chaturthi.

Very helpful resource to facilitate doing the puja as per krama…many thanks for your great service

Vedabhavan Secunderabad A.P , is doing yeomen service in spreading bakthi and vedic culture under the able guidance and supervision of Venkatrama Ganapadigal.
Thanks a lot to V.Sreeram Ganapatigal for the Pooja procedure in MP3 audio (down loadable page). It will be more helpful, if other important festival poojas are also included in the same manner.

S.Venkatramani, AGM ( Retired ) B.S.N.L · September 4, 2016 at 12:41 pm

One more suggestion;
Sreeram, Ganapadigal or any other teacher from veda Bhavan may consider conducting veda classes (Mahanyasam,sookthams, shanthi mantrams, udaga shanthi etc. which they consider relevant and important for Grihasthas like us) on Skype , as getting good and dedicated teachers in the field is quite difficult now a days . Hence the request.

KS RAMAKRISHNAN · August 24, 2017 at 11:27 pm

Vedhabhavan is functioning as per Sri AdhiShankaras teachings it is rare to come across such religious institution and enough encouragement from all must be there for further growth
